Nigeria-born, London-based artist Obongjayar today releases his debut single/video "Creeping".
The Lars-produced track mixes forward-thinking ambient electronica with downtempo hip-hop and silvery blues. It's a jarringly vivid ode to his adoptive city - despite minimalist tendencies, there's huge emotion seeping from every word from Obongjayar's mouth.
Obongjayar worked with filmmaker Frank Lebon on the video, which follows an intrusive, roaming spotlight around the UK capital.
Obongjayar's debut EP is expected later this year.
