[Exclusive] Listen to The Silent League’s new EP
Formed by erstwhile Mercury Rev keyboardist Justin Russo back in 2004, The Silent League has always had a rolling membership, with over 25 members contributing at one point or other. Next week will see Russo return with a his most collaborative effort to date in the form of a new EP.
We Go Forward is a collection of covers and classic Silent League tracks newly remixed by a whole host of friends and collaborators including Memory Tapes and Fitness Club Fiasco. Featuring a cover of Broken Social Scene’s ‘Texico Bitches’ the 7-track record is the sound of a band experimenting with their-own identity and can be streamed in its entirety below. We also have two exclusive downloads for you in the form of Neon Indians remix of ‘Here’s A Star’ and 90P’s remix of ‘Let It Roll’.
We Go Forward will be available to purchase from 16 May via Something In Construction records.
