Nashville eight-piece ELEL deliver their best cut yet with third single "Animal"
Eight-piece Nashville electro indie-poppers ELEL have unveiled their infectious new single "Animal".
Channeling the summery feel-good pop of early Phoenix and the colossal choruses of Miike Snow, EL EL are one of the most exciting new bands we've come across recently.
"Animal" is merely the group's third single following the successful releases of "Kiss Kiss" and "40 Watt", and it stands out as their most impressive yet.
It's catchy enough for pop lovers and experimental and dreamy enough for more avant-garde listeners. It's the hit track that shows the band taking the bull by its horns and showing the world what they're capable of. This will usher them from the underground and into the forefront of the industry both sides of the pond. Zane Lowe has already issued his support by giving it its world premiere on Beats 1.
Helping propel them further will be their debut album, Geode, which is out on the independent label Mom + Pop Music (Flume, Courtney Barnett, Polica) later this year.
