EERA toys with feathers and bathes in milk during her "White Water" video
EERA is unveiling her video for new EP teaser "White Water" this morning on Best Fit.
This is London-based, Norway-born artist EERA (aka Anna Lena Bruland)'s first music video; Jodie Canwell directed and edited the clip in London. It's a messy one, with Bruland spilling and bathing in milk and thrashing around in clouds of feathers, but there's still an elegance to the proceedings - it's not chaotic, but a delicate and poignant accompaniment to the track.
Speaking about "White Water", Bruland says: “It's about losing yourself after an intense relationship, feeling like the white water left behind after the wave. The song is about someone taking control over you. That I am 'just' the white water thats left after a big wave. But I still enjoy the water, and I miss it.”
The EERA EP is due out 4 March on House Arrest - you can pre-order now on clear and black vinyl.
EERA is set to play End Of The Road and By:Larm festivals this year. She'll play her debut London headline show on 9 March at the Sebright Arms.
