Ebenezer's collab'd with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign and Rejjie Snow but goes it alone on “Cliche"
Rising UK rapper and producer Ebenezer steps out of the shadow of some recent quality collabs - including Rejjie Snow, Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign - to take centre stage for his first solo cut “Cliche".
“Cliché is a testament to who I am, my truth,” Ebenezer tells Best Fit. “I grew up different and I think different. I perceive the things that occur in my surroundings and effect my day to day life differently, all the way to my music.”
On “Cliche” the young emcee's sound dilutes dusky, trappy R&B hooks with London realness, creating a sounds that’s flush with mood as much as attitude. This is the sound of man woke unto himself.
“I've always been the one to say how I feel and not think twice about fitting in,” he adds. “I’ve always tried to be honest and transparent in everything I do especially in my music.”
