EAT FAST crash through convention with new track "Fenham Dreadlock"
With their unique brand of thrash pop, EAT FAST are well on their way to becoming your next favourite band.
The band formally known as EAT (prior to "a legal wrangle with an '80s outfit of the same name") may only have a handful of songs to their name, but their command of their aesthetic is nothing short of masterful. With their debut EP out this Friday, "Fenham Dreadlock" is the final track to be shared from the release. Racing drumbeats drive scuzzed-up guitar refrains through a world of distortion at breakneck pace - which is exciting enough in its own right, but add in the groups affinity for hum-a-long hooks and hazy vocals, and what you're treated to is a explosion of sound that's both dirty and delicious.
Disappointingly short, but ever so sweet, two and a half minutes is all EAT FAST need to work their way under your skin.
