The High Priest of Loop returns, with the fittingly titled Looping State Of Mind. The album, perhaps The Field‘s best since From Here We Go Sublime, is available digitally now – because, we presume, some little shit decided to leak it.
‘Then It’s White’, one of the standouts from the record, is also pretty characteristic of the album as a whole. Lugubrious, melancholic yet optimistic, each element appearing almost imperceptibly, it’s instantly recognisable as Willner’s work; understated, restrained, intelligent.
Looping State Of Mind is available now on Kompakt.
