Austin trio Pure X let us dip further into the sounds of their forthcoming LP Crawling Up The Stairs by sharing agonising new track ‘Someone Else’.
Switches from raspy throat churns to clamoring falsetto vocals conjure desperation of an aching, love lorn subject matter. While starting off an unassuming gentle synth rock amble, the moment the words “Come on and take me down, deep into your hell” reach out, you know it’s time to sit up and pay attention.
