Reclusive Derbyshire producer Pinemarten is back after a leave of absence, and he is in sparkling mood. ‘I Can See’ is a characteristically washed-out piece of pop melancholy, but its louchely sidechained synths and arpeggiated bass gives it a new, ’80s-inspired house feel.
