Hibou is the project of Peter Michel from Seattle who has recently started uploading songs onto the usual musical outlets. New track ‘Glow’, and don’t take this the wrong way, sounds like the musical equivalent of an abstract landscape image posted on tumblr. Dreamy and washed out.
There’s a bit of Beach Fossils’ summer haze in there and even DIIV’s repetitive, kraut tones. It’s the soundtrack to those lazy July weekends when you’re fully prepared to sit out on the grass or by the sea somewhere all afternoon, drinking organic cider at a picnic.
