Aussie three-piece Display Homes debut post-punk number “Climate Change”
The B-52s meet Gang of Four on “Climate Change”, the first release from Display Homes.
Display Homes came together at a pool table on a late night somewhere in Australia and, as formation stories go, it was a pretty regular affair. A questionable Thin Lizzy cover later the group decided to kick things into gear and record “Climate Change” in David Akerman’s studio in Marrickville subsequently catching the attention of Tough Love Records.

The track is full of blissful naivety, lyrical honesty and power pop hooks that place the band within the realm of The Cars and Talking Heads. It is a stunning debut and hopefully the beginning of much more output.
