The Line of Best Fit
Continuing their penchant for grunge-tinged pop, Dios Mio return with the premiere of their forthcoming single, "Treehouse".
Channeling the dark prowess of the likes of 2:54 with tumbling drums and bewitching guitar FX, "Treehouse" is another example of the talent we heard before on "Stories" and "Body".
The band say the song is based on the imagery of Terrence Malick’s film, Badlands. In line with the film, the song is a story about escapism, freedom, stepping out of familiarity and into the unknown.
Stream the premiere of "Treehouse" below. The single is released on 4 September.
