Delilah Montagu channels the melancholic and the euphoric on first cut "Temptation"
With a vocal that confidently straddles restrain and release, 21-year-old London talent Delilah Montagu launches with the elegant and affecting debut "Temptation".
Montagu popped up on our radar last summer, stepping in for vocal duties for the David Guetta/Black Coffee radio-friendly club hit "Drive" - but her own sound is a more nuanced affair, quite some way away from Guetta et al.
"Temptation" soars with a beautifully cyclic melody that hits the morose, the melancholic and the euphoric just long enough to give a hint at the extremes of Montagu's range and talent. The track's a co-production by Athlete's Joel Pott and we hear Montagu's also been collaborating with the likes of Tom Odell, Justin from The Vaccines and even Diplo. Up next her are appearances at Live at Leeds and Hit The North in May followed by a set at The Great Escape.
