Délage’s “Call Me Today” is a slice of dark lo-fi pop

The Line of Best Fit
The project of 27-year-old Till Hormann from Germany, Délage sounds like a mix of John Maus and Dirty Beaches.
Now based in Amsterdam Delage is about to drop his debut record Loverboy Beatface through Field Mates Records, the label behind Yuko Yuko and Jimmy Whispers. “Call Me Today”, taken from that album, is an exploration of the darker side of infatuation; narcissism, sacrifice and jealousy. If you are in the mood for a chilling reimagination of ‘60s garage then this could be the song for you.
Loverboy Beatface is out 2 March via Field Mates Records.
