DAUNT introduces upcoming Unbearable Light EP with minimal new cut “Drive”
Ushering in a new project can be a challenge, but London-based DAUNT nails the process with ease.
New cut “Drive” is the first taste of what’s to come on his Unbearable Light EP, due this Spring. The influences of several genres subtly tint several aspects of “Drive”, shining through in the swung hip-hop beats and the solid yet funky bassline keeping the airy, spacious cut’s feet firmly on the ground.
“Drive” is only DAUNT’s fourth release, following last year’s “Beamish Boy”, and inclusion of a couple of tracks in compilations with various other artists. “Beamish Boy” provides a less laid-back contrast to “Drive”, with DAUNT taking the opportunity to show off his vocal a little more.
