Scandinavian troubadour Daniel Norgren reveals scintillating lament "I Waited For You" [Premiere]
Swedish blues-folk singer/songwriter Daniel Norgren is sharing his latest single "I Waited For You" via Best Fit.
Norgren's also detailed a slew of new tour dates across the continent for the upcoming winter season as he approaches the release of new LP The Green Stone.
"I Waited For You" is built around Norgren's emotive, echoing vocals - there's a touch of Bon Iver about his impassioned, Americana-style croon - and an ocean of atmospheric instrumentation. His picked melodies pepper a glut of softly rolling synths; if not for Norgren's yearning pipes, this could be a tremendously relaxing offering, but as it is, it's the kind of track that forces your stomach into your throat.
The Green Stone is set for release this October via Superpuma/Caroline.
Stream "I Waited For You" below. Norgren's upcoming tour dates can be found afterwards.
