Dama Scout create a staggering sensation with new single "Paper Boy"
After kickstarting the year with a performance at our Best Fit Forecast in January, Dama Scout have shared a brand new single.
In characteristically dreamy fashion, "Paper Boy" strolls along scuzzed up refrains in a reverb soaked haze. Head in the clouds, sugar sweet melodies guide the way to a swirling sensation of a chorus primed to whisk you off your feet. But Dama Scout have more than windswept allure up their sleeves.
Expanding into an ever-evolving cinematic world of squalling riffs and resounding distortion, the track scales to a staggeringly intoxicating climax complete with lingering refrains and deafening echoes. This is a track designed to swamp the senses - and it does so with a vivacity it's impossible to resist.
Dama Scout perform at London's Shacklewell Arms with Fake Laugh on 18 April, and The Dome, Tufnell Park with Happyness on 28 April.
