When a PR blurb mentions that an artist went to the same college as Icona Pop, Robyn and Tove Lo, you've really got to come with the goods. Luckily for CRONICLE, her new single is quite a banger.
CRONICLE is the recording name of Stockholm's Melanie Mohlkert, and her latest single "Head Up and High" combines sweet, punchy pop with the drive of UK garage.
Switching from breathy vocals to something altogether more powerful for a memorable chorus backed with urgent percussion, "Head Up and High" is filled with promise and suggests CRONICLE will have plenty more killer tunes to come in the future.
"Head Up and High" is out now on new label Tournament. CRONICLE plays The Old Blue Last on 20 February.
