Coucheron delivers tropical pop on new Sval collaboration "Cold"
Norwegian producer Coucheron is gearing up for the summer heat on the tropical and funky "Cold" featuring Sval.
Laced with vibrant key melodies and Sval's soft vocal tones, "Cold" is a playful summer tune, bouncing from breezy verses to the funk-fuelled, banger of a chorus.
Coucheron contrasts the single title with his tropical instrumentals, as the chorus vibrates over a funky bassline that warms up Sval's angelic vocals.
The woozy distorted electronica towards the end of the first chorus rings similarly to Passion Pit's early material, glitching while maintaining its bright shine.
The Norwegian beatmaker's new single is a vibrant, polished, and playful piece of pop that presents his banger-ready production with ease.
