Amsterdam duo City Park hope “Nights Never End” on fuzzy R&B jam
Alt R&B producers Saux and Sjaak (City Park) have crafted a soothing oasis amidst the busy metropolis, transporting you away from the bustling cityscapes.
Following two lovers through the night, the track's woozy guitar licks are smooth and sensual – a whisper carried on a soft evening breeze.
“This song is about the flirtatious nights outside bars and cafés when you don't want to say goodbye,” explains City Park. “When you're staying out too long, slightly intoxicated by wine and/or love, you don't feel as awkward as you might feel in a different context.”
“Nights Never End” embodies the transitory state between night and day as twilight begins to fall, casting the concrete monoliths of the surrounding city in dappled shadows and milky moonlight.
