Church & AP turn up the spice with an ode to chilli peppers on new single "Peños!"
Auckland hip hop duo Church & AP return to spread their spice through the galaxy on spaced out single "Peños!".
The New Zealand duo gained momentum with their infectious "Ready or Not" release in December 2018, before following it up with the gritty "Loud As Hell".
"Peños!" is the latest single from Elijah Manu (Church), and Albert Purcell (AP), and sees them recruit humbleboy and producer spyde as they aim for new heights - or highs - with the trippy synth melody.
Layered with harsh snapping beat, "Peños" sees the duo spice up cliché marijuana-fuelled lyrics used widely in rap to instead make a track paying homage to their favourite snack, jalapeños.
Church & AP fuse a simple favourite snack with a sweeping, bleeping synth melody to abduct yours ears (and tastebuds).
The duo continue to diversify their melodies with each single, reiterating their unique rap cocktail as they utilise their pronounciations to explore new realms.
