Listen: Childhood – “Falls Away”
With their debut album set for this summer, Childhood are racing to the front of other burgeoning British bands with their next single release, “Falls Away”.
Oft-mentioned as one of the most promising up-and-coming acts the UK has to offer, with this new track, the London-based four-piece are proving they’re so much more than just the hype.
Crisp and clear percussion drifts alongside rippling guitars with melodies steered ever onwards by softly alluring vocals – the whole ensemble crafting a sound that’s blissed-out to the point of euphoria.
The chorus drones and soars, and handclaps pull a new lease of energy into the mix; an aspect of the anthemic that’ll leave you fully floored. Cooler than cool and larger than life, Childhood are now fully primed to make their moment.
“Falls Away” is set for release via House Anxiety Records/Marathon Artists on 26 May.
