Chemtrails announce new EP, share "Deranged"
London's rawest garage pop act Chemtrails are back with a brand new EP in tow.
With the release of their debut EP late last year, Chemtrails introduced themselves to the world with a knack for driving punk, catchy hooks, and whimsical lyrics. With their second release, that momentum is showing no signs of slowing.
"Killing time and trying to be like the people on TV," Mia Lust chants on the band's new single, "need my head looked at." Harmonies enchant, rhythms drive, and riffs propel with an incessant energy. Powering through words of confusion and dismay with an forceful elation, "Deranged" is a storm of resolution purpose crafted for cutting loose and fancy free.
The track is the first song to be shared from Chemtrails' upcoming second EP, Headless Pin Up Girl. Work on a debut album is underway, and could arrive as early as this autumn.
