CAPPA slays on new hedonistic pop belter "Killin' It" [Premiere]
Slick pop peddler CAPPA is sharing her brand new single "Killin' It" exclusively on Best Fit.
Real name Carla Cappa, the Philadelphia-based Passion Pit collaborator channels Lorde's hushed apathy on the new single. She injects the woozy synth vapours with a sassy kind of house-pop bassline and snarling attitude, juxtaposing frost snaps with delirious heat.
It's a devil-may-care cut that tightrope walks between cool nonchalance and sizzling summer pop, and pulls out all the stops to make sure it stays rattling around your head for hours after the final beat.
The track is produced by Nashville's The Almighty Chief, who also helped created CAPPA's previous single "Hush".
