Camden Cox provides enough dance-pop heat to melt the iciest of hearts on "Time"
Camden Cox has returned with new floorfiller "Time", a searing splicing of retro dance motifs and platinum-clad future-R&B.
The track follows last year's "Did You Love Me?" and "Gold" releases, and it sees Cox reflecting on the transience of contemporary life and the rare permanence love brings. It's heavy stuff but Cox makes it sound so easy.
"'Time' was written with Sam Eyes and Kosuke Kasza, we were reminiscing over some old school garage at the time!" Cox tells us. "The song is a reflection on how fast the world moves nowadays, and how easy it is to erase something if its not working. Love is one thing that you can’t edit or buy, just like time itself. It’s a positive, uplifting party song that encourages lovers to focus on each other more, and hold on to something special, because every moment is over in a flash."
