New Zealand’s newest breakthrough duo BROODS have unveiled their haunting video for “Never Gonna Change”.
The Brother-sister twosome have been nothing short of impressive since debuting “Bridges” and, in January, their self-titled EP. Their ominous video for “Never Gonna Change” doesn’t actually feature the pair but instead casts a couple getting intimate in a leaky caravan. There’s an undeniable sadness that the video conveys alongside Georgia Nott’s lead vocals – almost as if the couple know they’re drowning, but they’re ignoring the inevitable.
“Never Gonna Change” is released on 31 March along with the limited vinyl release of their debut EP.
BROODS are playing their first UK show tonight (5 March) at Notting Hill Arts Club alongside MØ, before opening a few dates for HAIM:
08 March – Manchester, Academy
10 March – Dublin, Olympia Theatre
11 March – Sheffield, O2 Academy
