Well this is very, very good. Brontide are one of the loudest, tightest live bands around – and, unusually, they have managed to capture this on record.
‘Matador’ is so tightly wound that it sounds like it’s going to pop straight out of the speakers. Every element here is perfectly judged, but the track is really made by the guitar lines; the first half is wonderfully intricate, and almost impossibly groove-laden. So, so much fun.
