Polish alt. pop star Brodka is streaming her debut UK single, "Horses", ahead of its release via Play It Again Sam.
The single appears on Clashes, her English-language debut, which is out on 13 May. It's her fourth album in total (the last went double platinum), but her first to get a release outside of Poland.
"Horses" sees Brodka mingle otherworldly synthpop with brittle gothic folk - there's a bold streak of darkness that courses through "Horses", but it's still addictive, engaging, and somehow uplifting.
The track was recorded in Poland and L.A. with the Grammy Award-winning Noah Georgeson (Joanna Newsom, Adam Green, Cate Le Bon).
