Bristol foursome LICE share deranged psychobilly freakout "Stammering Bill"
Rowdy Bristol combo LICE have announced new collection It All Worked Out Great and shared unhinged deluge of nightmarish noise named "Stammering Bill".
The "early years collection" sees LICE reworking previously released material into two EPs (which will also be put out together as one full LP). The new offering/s will out via Balley Records - the label run by pal Joe Talbot, who is also the frontman of fellow Bristolian noiseniks IDLES (who have a busy 2018 planned themselves).
"It could not have been made by perfect people, and does not expect any to be listening," says LICE frontman Alastair Shuttleworth' of the collection.
First taste "Stammering Bill" comes with a vid directed and edited by Shuttleworth, and filmed by Talbot and IDLES bandmate Lee Kiernan. The horse was built by Bruce Bardsley.
"As we watch the world seemingly burn; solace is found in the boundless passions of our peers and the hard workings born from that," Talbot says of his new signing. "LICE are a force beyond the rabble. We are in love. Up the open-minded and up the open-hearted."
LICE are supporting IDLES on their upcoming UK tour and then headlining a pair of shows in May (one in their home city and another in London). Find out more.
