Brandt Brauer Frick announce new record Joy
Brandt Brauer Frick announce new record Joy and share first single "You Can Buy Me Love".
Beaver Sheppard, a Canadian singer and poet, joins the techno trio for the album - it's described as the first time Daniel Brandt, Jan Brauer, and Paul Frick have focused on vocals and 'songs'. Among other things, the album will examine "post-religious themes, such as struggling to find joy in times of uncertainty and instability."
This news follows the band's AA-side from April, “Holy Night”/“Poor Magic”, which also featured Sheppard.
Joy is released 28 October via Because. It follows 2013 LP Miami.
