You all remember shouty Australian tykes Operator Please, right?
No? Well, you’re forgiven, because their breakout hit, ‘Just A Song About Ping Pong’ and follow-up ‘Get What You Want’ were just about the only ripples they managed to cause on these shores.
Lead vocalist Amandah Wilkinson’s solo project, Bossy Love, promises considerably more longevity. ‘Wind Me Up’, the first track drawn from Bossy’s debut EP Me + You, revels in bold, fragrant brass loops and caramel sweet vocal hooks.
A moreish little pop nugget, steeped in familiar sugared sass.
