boerd reverts back to his slick electronica for new single "Look"
Swedish multi-instrumentalist boerd has reignited his slick electronica on uplifting new single "Look".
"Look" follows on from his raw Stella Explorer collaboration "Before We Drown" that landed earlier this month, and sees the Swedish artist revert back to his electronica roots.
The rippling beat sits atop an icy lake, softly absorbing the undercurrents of his Scandinavian minimalism with a glacial piano melody that crystalises with the atmospheric synths.
Using small excerpts of vocals to emphasise the track name, boerd moves gracefully through the atmospheric melodies with his array of instruments to seamlessy merge the digital and natural world.
The liquefied melodies allow the warmth of summer to evaporate into the sharp clicks of the beat, as boerd navigates through an untouched winter landscape with a track that defines the beauty of nature through a digital sound.
The new offering is lifted from boerd's debut album Misplaced, which is due to be released on 3 December via Anjunadeep, and is available to pre-order now.
