London-based singer Bo Rocha pulls no punches with combatitive "bad bitch" call-to-arms "Angel Eyes".
Rocha swanned into our ears earlier this year with "Tangerine Flake". We described the cut as having "warped pop hooks and skewiff soul synths", and that "Rocha's vocal threads disperse into miasmatic vapours, hellbent on infecting your brain with big melodies."
This new single is definitely familiar in that sense, with the unstable vox latching into your mind. It's a swaggering track, drenched in confidence and a plastered with a Machiavellian smirk.
Rocha explains that “there’s no room for sympathy or mercy in "Angel Eyes". It’s the driving seat, it’s taking charge, it’s expressing explicitly without insecurity. It’s about being a bad bitch."
