London-based artist Blooms releases another track from her upcoming If EP. Delightfully woozy electro ensues.
This type of electronic RnB sound might be all the rage at the moment, but despite that Irish singer Louis Cunnane (aka Blooms) has been quietly seducing ears with her heartwarming vocals alongside her own wonky take on Lykke Li-esque electro. It’s all percussive beats and hazy synths, before the background electronic hue swells and allows the track to wistfully reach its conclusion. “Lost in lust/ lust in you” swoons Cunnane at one point. I know what she means.
Blooms will make her live debut in London this coming September, and her EP If is out later in the year.
