Bing & Ruth announce No Home Of The Mind, their debut album for new label 4AD, and share lead single "Starwood Choker".
Bing & Ruth were 11 musicians strong at one point but now they're a streamlined quintet - led, as ever, by composer David Moore.
"Starwood Choker" is a magnificent composition, recalling the vivid minimalism of pianists such as Nils Frahm or ambient composers like Ólafur Arnalds. The accompanying video is eerie and haunting - but there's beauty to be found in the silhouettes.
The LP is the New York collective's third studio album in total, and it will see Moore & Co. "taking so-called 'classical' music to new limits."
No Home Of The Mind is released 17 February via 4AD. Pre-order now.
