BILK let loose on punchy new track "Next Weekend"
Essex trio BILK fuse rap and punk with their reality on hard-hitting new track "Next Weekend".
Chaotic and full of youthful exuberance, "Next Weekend" introduces BILK as a trio ready to paint the town.
Infused with scratchy guitar riffs and a rapid beat, BILK's new offering is as fast-paced as their adolescent energy, taking their social surroundings and translating them into a reckless track.
Frontman Sol Abrahams delivers his carefree attitude with a feroscious flow, reflecting on a cycle of hangovers and blurry flashbacks from the night before, which soon concludes that they're looking forward to doing it all over again.
Speaking about their track, Abrahams explains, "“Next Weekend" is the idea that even though we’ll go out and probably regret a load of stuff next morning, we’ll just do it again anyway.”
Delivering his speedy verses with a tone similar to Rat Boy, Devlin and earlier Jamie T offerings, BILK utilise their energy and channel it into a lighthearted, and hugely relatable track produced by Duncan Mills (Jake Bugg, Vaccines).
