Jevon puts betrayal and loyalty centre stage on "Judas"
Rising London emcee and producer Jevon's dropped the lead track from his upcoming debut EP, due next month.
"Judas" is - not surprisingly - a track about betrayal and loyalty. "When I was young I got setup by someone I grew up with who I thought was my friend,” says Jevon. "as a result of moments like that I now triple question things in my own mind and it can lead me to over analyse too much, this could be another example of that.”
The track doesn't dial back on the drama and urgency we've heard from Jevon's music so far, promising an EP that's as thematically a mission statement as it it is musically; we expect great things. The Judas EP is set for a 20 July release.
