Just in case the name wasn’t enough of an indication, Peckham boys Beaty Heart seem to have a real knack for creating tropical sounding psych pop that’s enticingly playful and packed with a whirlwinds of percussion.
And if that’s not appealing enough for you, newie ‘Lekka Freakout’ is one of those tracks that has the potential to make you forget, for just a minute, that summer is well and truly over. Who knew a song that may, or may not, be about an amputee could make you feel so good? We’re digging Beaty Heart over here.
‘Lekka Freakout’ drops on 11 November via Nusic Sounds.
