Dirty Hit's latest signee Beabadoobee delivers charming bedroom-pop on doe-eyed “Dance With Me”
Beabadoobee has released a seven track EP called Patched Up along with delightful title track “Dance With Me”.
Beabadoobee, aka 18 year old Bea Kristi, has announced signing to Dirty Hit where she shares the roster with The 1975, Pale Waves and The Japanese House. Originally from Manilla but raised in London, Beabadoobee started recording only last year, and her self-released bedroom recordings gained her a respectable DIY following.
On “Dance With Me”, Beabadoobee's captivating, cutesy vocals interlace with dainty piano twinkles reminiscent of Where The Wild Things Are-era Karen O.
Speaking about the EP, Beabadoobee describes it as “a collection of songs that patch up a history of teenage unhappiness in the lead up to turning 18 years old.”
