Patrik Berger, co-writer of "Dancing On My Own", launches BC Unidos with the bouncy "Bicycle"
With production and writing credits on hits such as "Dancing On My Own", "Boom Clap" and "I Love It", Swede Patrik Berger knows his way around a tune. His new project BC Unidos gets off the ground with another solid pop hit.
BC Unidos is made up of Berger and fellow Swedish musician Markus Krunegård, who also has a fairly prolific hit rate, and they've enlisted Zimbabwean/Californian vocalist Shungudzo for debut single "Bicycle".
The track is a deeply funky pop song filled with rumbling bass, handclaps, organ and Shungudzo's charming vocal which switches between bubblegum playfulness and sweetly soulful. It's the very definition of infectious.
BC Unidos is described as a collaborative project, with Krunegård explaining "we have invited some of our friends to partake in a musical free zone where no rules apply - proving that open minds and unity can create a better and more fun loving world."
