We first got to grips with Nashville’s BASECAMP in July, when their oily debut ‘Emmanuel’ dropped out of nowhere.
The trio of producers made their eponymous EP available for download last week, with ’2 Thingz’ being the pick of the rest. This one hits a similarly monochromatic sweet spot to their gloomy breakout track with layers of dusky vocals, pillowed synths and pluming, soul-infused strings combining to nail the quintessential dark RnB vibe.
