East London rapper Barney Artist drops a demo he thinks "should be on the Black Panther Soundtrack"
East Londoner Barney Artist has shared a new demo produced by Sakura that draws inspiration by the phenomenal Black Panther film/soundtrack.
The Tom Misch and Jordan Rakei collaborator rolls out a fiery set of verses on "Wake Up!", which he says he thinks "should be on the Black Panther Soundtrack".
The OST for new Marvel flick Black Panther boasts major names such as Kendrick Lamar, Jorja Smith, James Blake, SZA, and Vince Staples, so Artist's clearly got his work cut out - but if he's delivering a track this sharp then he could grab himself a seat among the stars. It's a fiercer shade than he usually serves up, but this new route is a welcome one.
Rah.. I think I just made a song that should be on the Black Panther Soundtrack.. it’s only a demo but gimme a shout if you wanna have a listen
