Aylee cuts loose on infectious debut single “Bad Habit”
“Bad Habit” is the debut release from Scottish musician Aylee, blending fresh electronic pop with her hypnotically melodic vocal.
At 22 years of age, Aylee has been laying the groundwork for her career for since her early teens. Encouraged by her folk musician father, she has spent much of the past decade gigging locally whilst writing and producing to build her own musical catalogue.
“Bad Habit” is the first taste to be shared from this collection of songs; an infectious track boasting distorted vocals and hypnotic drum samples. A radio-ready break-up anthem, it sees Aylee cutting loose from a recent relationship in a sassy glimmer of synth-pop.
“Bad Habit” is taken from Aylee’s forthcoming debut EP, due later this year. With future cuts promising to build upon this exciting foundation, there’s plenty to look forward to.
