astronomyy has teased us with a slow drip of his clandestine take on psuedo-RnB these last twelve months and returns today with a track from his official debut release.
“Nothin On My Mind” is taken from the forthcoming There For You U EP, released on 28 July via astronomyy’s own label Lunar Surf and has all the hallmarks of the songwriter and multi-instrumentalist’s m.o.
A candidly raw guitar/percussive interplay with a breaking lullaby vocal is a given from the talented Worcestershire-born boy but it’s a much bigger song than we’ve heard from him before, with the potential to break hearts. Listen below.
