Asha returns with delicate new track “To The Edge”
After a brief hiatus, the ever elusive singer is back confident and inspired.
Two years ago Asha careened into the pop world with an exciting and imaginative first offering “We Can Do This” and shortly after that “Chapters”, both of which helped her go from a Rinse FM supported underground artist to pop star in waiting with a bright future ahead.
Life got in the way as it always does and Asha took some time to get focused and learn to speak her own truth. Now she is back with a delicate offering that moves away from the inflamed bubblegum pop of her earlier releases and focuses on the essence of tonality, harmony and instrumentation. Intricate guitar work sets an almost melancholic tone which is balanced by Asha’s uplifting and unique vocal, all tied together with lavish production demonstrating that “To The Edge” is Asha at her finest; in control, honest and mature.
