Malmö punk four-piece Arre! Arre! light fires on new single "Anthem"
With their first new music since their 2015 debut album, Arre! Arre! have released an "ode to sisterhood" simply titled “Anthem”.
Arre! Arre! already have a habit of writing their own theme songs, from their eponymous track on their debut EP to their headline single "A.T.T.A.C.K!". It's a track that’s a hell of a lot of fun, with a blast of rocket-powered guitars, an old-school scuzz-rock singalong riding a wave of sawn-off riffs and gang vocals, along with their trademark "Arre! Arre!" refrain.
“On every record that we have released there’s been an anthem," say the band, "but this is the first time that we actually named the anthem 'Anthem'. The song is an ode to the sisterhood within the band but also sisterhood in general. With the song we want everybody to put on their dancing shoes and celebrate sisterly love!”
“Anthem” is the first song out from the band’s new album, Tell Me All About Them, their first since signing to PNKSLM records.
