Joining the ever-expanding UK garage-renaissance, Arkon Fire have emerged with their first cut, due for release on instrumental 90′s label of the same persuasion, Locked On.
Nestling-in alongside the likes of Duke Dumont and Gorgon City, the London multi-instrumentalists – Big Jam and Bixby – mix a heady, seductive vocal refrain with a bouncing ball of bass-line and prickling synth piano hook to conjure-up dreamy dance-floor nostalgia. Satisfyingly shameless drops and some added rumbling aggression help elevate the track out of the original garage days and into 2014.
