ARK debuts with the Joni Mitchell-inspired piano of “Made For Us”
Following her recent signing to Kobalt for a three-single deal, ARK makes a dramatic debut with the resounding piano-pop of “Made For Us”.
ARK, originally from Hampshire, nurtured her songwriting talent from the age of 15. She cut her teeth as a performer singing Motown with her sisters and learning piano from a local tutor. “Made For Us” is our introduction to her classic, ethereal sounds, inspired by the grey haze of London. The smoky, emotional influence of Joni Mitchell broods somewhere beneath the sweet chime of her vocal, with ringing piano providing a dramatic backdrop.
With two more singles yet to come via Kobalt, ARK’s live show has already been described as “captivating”. Catch her at Communion’s Club Night on 4 February.
