Arctic Lake hit the heavens with angelic new track "Only Me"
Laced with angelic ambience and a crisp, frostbitten melody, newcomers Arctic Lake tease us with their compelling new track, "Only Me".
Simplicity often works better than complexity. Arctic Lake, the latest ambient trio to grace our ears, use frontwoman Emma Foster's angelic vocals to reel us in to their glacial landscapes.
With minimalistic instrumentals and soft, echoey drums, the melody elaborates on the frostbitten charm and delicacy of Arctic Lake. "Only Me" soars through icy landscapes and heavenly highs by incorporating a stillness in the guitar melody, adding a sense of purity.
As soothing as the track is, "Only Me" still creates a beautiful barren landscape so tranquil and hushed that the only possible focus is the beauty of the track.
