Question reality and get inebriated with Anteros on "Drunk"
Anteros set their sights on the stratosphere with guitar-heavy, hook-driven new single "Drunk"
London four-piece Anteros steer away from the dreamy indie of their debut EP and instead pack attitude and scuzzy guitar riffs into the title track of their sophomore, Drunk. The band - Laura Hayden, Joshua Rumble, and Harry Balazs - are now joined by new member Jackson Couzens on guitar - now they've got an altogether punchier sound which begins to bubble up to the surface on "Drunk".
Taking cues from Trainspotting and Pulp Fiction, frontwoman Hayden stars in the music video shotting tequila in a fetching pink wig. "Drunk" also sees Hayden really come into her own in way we've see on stage, but not heard on the records yet. Calling on her Catalan heritage, Hayden slips into Spanish before the last chorus roars back to life.
